Contents	:	Further to the announcement on 27 February 2008, Ire-Tex Corporation Berhad ("ITCB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad has via its letter dated 5 March 2008 granted the Company an extension of time of 6 months until 30 June 2008 to comply with the public shareholding spread requirements pursuant to Paragraph 8.15(1) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad
		The public shareholding spread of the Company according to the Record of Depositors of ITCB as at 31 December 2007 is as follows:
		Number of Public Shareholders: 991
		Percentage of public shareholding: 45.00%
		At this juncture, the Company has yet to formulate a formal rectification plan to increase the number of public shareholders. However the Company endeavours to formulate a rectification plan to encourage more public participation in the shares of ITCB and increase the liquidity of its shares.
